ATE aims to establish sustainable economic growth and a measurable reduction in poverty in Lawra District, Upper West Region, Ghana.
To achieve this aim, ATE delivers three key programmes: 1) BizATE - a small business development programme for people from a cross-section of the community wishing to own or grow a small business in order to foster sustainable income generation, 2) EducATE - a school feeding programme to increase children’s attendance and completion of basic education, 3) SNAP - a special needs awareness programme to support marginalised disabled children and their families to encourage inclusion, improve their access to rights and services including education and healthcare.
