Kate joined CET in September 2021.

She completed her Chartered Accountancy training with Ernst & Young and remained with the firm as a corporate tax specialist until 2001. She then joined Bank of Scotland, initially in Group Tax, then Corporate Division, Edinburgh, where she developed a specialism in financial reporting under International Accounting Standards.

In 2015, she joined Tring Park School for the Performing Arts to manage the finance function, in a role that connected her finance background with her other passions in education, the arts and the charity sector.

As a fine art graduate, Kate is committed to CET’s vision. She believes that embedding commercial education into all disciplines and settings would help young people thrive and prosper as they make the transition from education into work and business. She continues her creative work alongside her role with CET.
